Star Paper Mill brings in state-of-the-art production line to produce prime grade tissue paper with minimum wastage.
Abu Dhabi-based Star Paper Mill has successfully commissioned and started the new Tissue Paper Machine PM1 in ICAD 2, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The first reel of tissue jumbo rolls was produced on July 14, 2019.
Star Paper Mill, a new and modern tissue paper manufacturing mill spread over 27,000 sqm, is located in the growing Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD).
The new tissue production line was purchased from the world-renowned machinery manufacturer M/S RECARD Spa, Italy. It is a DCT Crescent Former Tissue machine with the latest flexi-nip shoe press technology, enabling the company to achieve higher bulk and softness. The machine deckle is 3.6 m having two rewinders with a capability of rewinding up to 4 ply. The annual production capacity would be about 40,000 tonnes of world class prime quality virgin tissue paper.

It will offer products that are manufactured to the highest standard of quality, together with the flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our valued customers locally & internationally.
SPM will produce a wide spectrum of hygienic tissue paper Jumbo Reels in various grades ranging from the most delicate 12.5 GSM to 38 GSM towels viz. Facial, Toilet, Napkin, Kitchen Towel, Maxi, Centerfeed, Auto-cut, Industrial Rolls and Hand Towel.
The specialization will be in value added products such as low GSM facial tissue, ultra-soft and smooth tissue, lotionised tissue with a satin finish, bonded napkins, multicolor printable white napkin tissue and very high wet strength towels. The company will also be producing pastel shades tissues.
